Day in the Life of … Lynn

My day starts with a nice cup of tea and a healthy breakfast of porridge and fruit (for the rest of the day healthy eating might just go by the wayside!).

I turn over my spiritual calendar and the spiritual saying of the day is “Be very gentle, loving and caring with yourself and extend it to others”.

I make a list of things that I must do today – overdue paperwork and boring household chores, my mother often tells me – clear up as you go and you would not be in such a mess ! – she is 80 this year, but still tells me off – Bless her !.

I need a quiet day ahead because I have a night of clairvoyance  to an audience with my co-worker Eddie who is a medium, he is very direct and powerful spirit channeller. There are 100 people expected in the hall in Harold Wood, Essex.

I need to relax and clear my mind so I can be at my best for tonight’s work so I listen to one of my meditation tapes and have a nice bath into which I pour Rose and Lavender oils.

The night is a huge success with gasps, laughs and tears of joy from the audience, all happy with the messages that Eddie and I were able to deliver through Spirit.

After the show ended a number of the people from the audience came to us and booked private readings and some expressed their thanks for their received messages from loved ones.

We drove home happy in the knowledge that we had done a good night’s work and we discussed our next clairvoyant evening which is scheduled for May.

(There are still some places available if you would like to attend. All the details are available on my website www.lynnlait.com.)

Upon arrival home, I unwind with a hot drink after which I go to bed, put my head on the pillow, and reflect upon the day and in particular the night’s work and my thoughts turn to my guides and I thank them for being with me.

Thought of the Day … Katie

When I was a child I went through some difficult circumstances. I went on to get married and have three great children but whenever I went out with my girlfriends, I was never approached by guys. I looked nice but couldn’t understand why I was ignored.

To get to the bottom of this I did a closed psychic development with my mentor Pat Haywood. On the first night we did a Guided Meditation.

Pat said to me that I had picked two colours of red in this meditation. I had to be aware as she had opened up my base Chakra, which had been blocked. The next day I was filled with passion. The urge carried on throughout the daytime which made my daily working life a nightmare.

I went to see Pat who immediately started laughing and apologised saying that she had quite forgot to tell me about the passionate feelings I would possibly get. She took off the sensation from me so that I could go to sleep at last and lead a normal life.

Over the years I have done lots of relationship and colour readings. I wanted to combine these two skills to help people. I have found that if the person has been in an abusive relationship, their Base chakra is often blocked. I started to experiment with ways of overcoming this. I started wearing Red Knickers and telling myself that I was beautiful and sexy whilst walking to work. I found that three men said good morning to me and I was filled with confidence. I began to sway like I was walking on a catwalk.

After doing this on different occasions I came to the conclusion that if you wear red knickers it really does make a difference so started to tell people with relationship problems.

Soon people were sending feedback into the show stating that it really does work. One lady who was trying to get her ex back said that he turned up with a brand new bright red car for her. Another lady said that she had gone out with her ex to talk, ended up getting drunk and he ended up wearing her knickers! A man actually cut up his designer tee shirt so that he could put a piece of red material down his underpants!

So get out there and buy your red knickers and give me some feedback.

Meditation for Your Word of the Day

The following meditation is one I frequently use when teaching basic awareness and psychic development.  When learning to meditate, it is far better to have instruction from an experienced teacher than it is to try to go it alone.  Attempting to ‘still’ the mind or think of nothing is counter-productive.  When settling down for meditation it is best to use the breath as a focus.  When you encounter lots of mind chatter simply acknowledge the thoughts, however random they may be, and then return your awareness to your breathing.  Do not feel that you must breathe to a specific count, it is has to be what you are comfortable with otherwise you will feel lightheaded.  Now for the meditation.

Settle yourself comfortably in a chair, turn off or silence all distractions and close your eyes.  Breathe deep into your solar plexus, in other words fill your lungs and fully exhale two or three times and sense any negativity or stress being blown away.  Then the rhythm of the breath will come.  Imagine yourself on a pathway, the path is lined with flowers and the sun is warm on your face.  Be aware of bird song and the power of nature as you make your way along the path.  As the path winds along you come into a meadow, situated in the corner is a small building.  Make your way across to this building and notice the door is open ready for your arrival.  As you enter, you instantly feel that you have come home, a sense of de ja vu comes over you and you recognise you have been here many times before.  Become aware of your surroundings, of the furniture, the décor and the atmosphere of your room.  Among the many things contained here, notice that there is a small wooden box on the windowsill.  Pick the box up and hold it in your hand for a few moments, feel the wood and notice the shape of the box.  Remove the lid and you will find a folded piece of paper.  When you remove the paper and unfold it you will see your personal word of the day.

This word will be something that will be relevant for your day ahead.  I look forward to hearing what your word is and if you instantly recognise its relevance.
