Letting Go and Embracing Change

We’ve had some wonderful warm sunshine over the past few days, so you would be forgiven for questioning whether the autumn has arrived. However the abundance of conkers and falling golden leaves in my local park remind me of the seasonal change we are going through.

Autumn is the perfect time for us to look at letting go (just like the leaves falling from the trees) and stepping into change (with the turning of a new season).

For the last four years I have held my Saturday practice at a wonderful office in Piccadilly, central London. I have adored working there as the building is stunning – with a grand golden staircase spiralling around a central lift and beautiful art deco features. It’s been perfectly located – easy for me and my clients to get to. I had grown very attached to my office there over the years.

Well, this Saturday was my last day working at that office, as the office management company had to leave the building. So I have had to face an enforced change in my life. I sat there after a day’s work on Saturday thinking of how I have changed over the years, including the changes my clients have been through and how my work has evolved too. I was dreading leaving the building for the last time, but after thanking the spirits of place, I walked out looking forward to a new beginning.

I will now be working at a new office in Trafalgar Square which is bigger, has a view of the London Eye and you can also apparently hear Big Ben chiming the hours. So I’m now excited about a change I was dreading. I’m looking forward to seeing what my new relationship with this building will bring.

Change – no matter whether it’s big or small – involves some letting go of the familiar. This can be scary as we step into the unknown. But once we do let go and embrace that change, we allow ourselves new space to grow, giving us a wonderful opportunity to evolve into something even better.

Therefore on today’s show I want to help you let go and embrace change. I will be looking at your own individual circumstances and giving you various techniques to help you move forward with complete confidence.

 Let’s do it!

Hello Sally, your blog was very ineresting indeed! Over the past few months I have been feeling changes within myself spiritually. In October I will be leaving my job as a Security Officer; I have been doing that job for 2 years now but I have felt the need to move on. I will be going to Canada for a few months to do voluntary work; I felt in myself that this is the correct decision to make. Love & Light, Guillaume.
