‘If you talk to the animals
they will talk with you
and you will know each other.
If you do not talk to them,
you will not know them,
And what you do not know
you will fear.
What one fears one destroys.
-          Chief Dan George
There was once a time when humans recognised themselves as a part of nature, and nature a part of them. They knew that all things are connected. Waking was akin to dreaming, and vice versa, and the knowledge and power of animals was deeply respected. Sadly, for the majority of humankind, and to the detriment of the planet, this has been all but forgotten.  There is so much we can learn from nature, and working with the magic of power animals is a very special experience indeed.
It is the shamanic belief that everything is alive and connected, and that each living creature carries a power and wisdom.  Power animals are an essential part of shamanic tradition and aid the Shaman, giving him or her energy and power in their work.  A power animal is the spirit of an animal rather than an actual physical animal, although your animal may show themselves in physical form, whether the local cats are always at your window, or you feel drawn to a particular creature.
You usually have one power animal that will stay with you for a long period of time (sometimes your whole life!) and others which will walk alongside you on your journey for a shorter while; enabling you to move through life’s various challenges and changes.
Everyone is thought to have a guardian power animal and each animal has a magical wisdom to share with you. On this breakfast show we are going to tune into your own personal power animal totem and see how you can walk with this animal for a more enriched empowered life.
Don’t forget! This isn’t a one way relationship…  so please do something kind for an animal today!
With Love

Healing Power of Light

It is now officially winter. We may have benefited from one extra hour in bed this weekend – but now we have to live with evenings that much darker. Less light generally.

For some this is just too depressing and “winter blues” are commonplace at this time of year. The reduced hours of sunlight can – in many – be accompanied by inactivity. You know, when we don’t want to get out of our cosy beds in the morning…..  I imagine it shall have been a bit like this for me, before this very show!

One lovely lady who came around my flat for a reading the other day said: “I just want to be like a hedgehog now and hibernate for the rest of the winter. Ring me when it is February.”

Nevertheless there are ways in which we can draw light into our lives, even in deepest darkest winter.

The pineal gland, right where the third eye lives, is basically a light metre. And we can stimulate it without the need for sun light. Meditation is the best way to keep the third eye chakra open.

On Monday’s your Dream Psychic I am going to be leading a meditation on Option 3 that will stimulate the pineal gland and bring a vast light down upon us all.

Many of you may be able to see the light as it descends, and others may not. Some very psychic people are not necessarily clairvoyant (seeing), so either way do not judge yourself. You can always practice the meditation again at a later date.

Come into this process with an open mind and do your best to relax for a few minutes (which is all it will be, so it won’t cost you an arm and a leg either!!)

It will be a Healing Light. My guides have promised to inject some excitement, energy and the positivity of the Sun into all those who listen in. Let’s get rid of those winter blues….

Bring it on!
