I really believe that 'Beauty is in the eye, mind and heart of the beholder'! Yes, the aesthetics are what we are conditioned to feel matter the most, in this society - however, for me, beauty radiates from within and has no 'right or wrong' feature to it. Being 'pleasing to the eye' helps; but one can't please every eye, as every eye's perception is very different and unique! Let's face it; beauty has always had connotations to finding a companion or simply being 'liked' or accepted by others. Beauty is a little like mental illness to me...It doesn't affect you until you are put in a social setting and have to 'fit in'! LOL These days, looks matter so much that even the perfection of a newborn baby is put under the scrutiny of the 'Good looks are everything patrol'! I find it quite sad. Timeless beauty comes from within...It never ages and is certainly always remembered and appreciated. No point looking like Sofia Loren and being rotten inside...
