Thought of the Day … Laura

Infused with LOVE!
Toady’s blog is more of a serving suggestion for a more fruitful day – life even, if you take on board the possibilities of these ideas.
There has been a lot of talk about living in the NOW. Here in the now is all we have, and isn’t that just all we ever need? There is a quote I found in a museum from the time of Alexander the Great, which stated that Alexander had the whole world at his command, but on his deathbed all he wanted was just one more moment.
So to live in the moment we need to be conscious of our actions, our motives and our intent.
A great way to practice channelling positive intent can be experimented with and enjoyed in our everyday lives. You may have heard of the Emoto Water Crystal experiments, where it was shown that words and positive or negative intent actually affect the shape and structure of how a water crystal is formed.
So by sticking a label onto a water bottle, which says for example ‘GRATITUDE’ or ‘LOVE’ on it, you are actually raising the vibration of the water you are going to ingest. Believe me, this is not some hippy talk, it actually works, I have had people comment on how nice the water tastes, without them having seen the writing on the bottle.
So lets bring this in to our everyday routines. By blessing our water we are nourishing ourselves, how about we send positive intent into the food we are making for a friend/family member or partner? Imagine how good for their bodies and souls a meal could be, if you have visualised nothing but their happiness while making it? Or maybe you sew, knit or create pottery, while creating a present or gift, pour in your positive intent for the person this gift is made for. This is so simple and so powerful, but something we rarely do.
Now imagine how many times we have cooked ourselves a meal, done the garden, made a present etc, whilst dwelling on negative thoughts and feelings?
We’ve all been making the dinner, angry at someone who upset you that day, or brewing tea with resentment over some small matter. Imagine what energy you are infusing into your body there?
All this requires is a little awareness, thoughtfulness and positivity and you can create wonders.
Give it a go; I’m looking forwards to hearing your results!
Best Wishes!

    Good Morning Laura

I thought about how we talk about nourishing the soul..and when I looked up the meaning of nourishment it refers to nourishing the state of being..

The book ‘Chocolat’ describes the infusion of love into the chocolate given to the people passing through as the owner carefully notes the needs of her customer..

“Each box of luscious bonbons comes with a free gift: Vianne’s uncanny perception of its buyer’s private discontents and a clever, caring cure for them. ”
    Joanne Harris

We look at the word infusion and it describes the release of active ingredients..so to nourish the soul is perhaps in part to take care of the state of being and to nurture the active ingredients of oneself to be released..

And for you a recipie to nourish and fire the soul..

Brown some beef cubed, stew gently with a tin of tomatoes, add red wine, red peppers, paprika, garlic, red chillis and at the last minute infuse with some dark chilli chocolate!!!!
