What Matters?
Some of the most important answers to that question including, climate change, world peace, saving the rain forest, polar bear, and other beloved endangered creatures may seem a bit much to sort out on a Tuesday morn (or lets stay optimistic here maybe we can start to sort them out) and of course, there are no ‘quick fixes’ to these issues that face humanity at present.
But there are things we can do here and now, which have the potential to make a beautiful difference to the world we live in. These things needn’t take drastic upheaval, mass organization or any great sacrifice. Here’s how we start: Look at our lives, sort out that which is not serving us or making us happy and then realise and prioritize what is truly important to us.
Once you have identified what really is your light, what makes your heart shine, then recognise and eliminate any obstacles that are preventing you from getting there. (Note: this doesn’t mean you can eliminate a person! It means ridding yourself of any out dated thought patterns/situations, which are holding you back.)
Recognise and be grateful for the meaningful things in your life.
See artificial and conditioned ideals for what they are.
If we can work out our own route to contentment, we have a far greater chance of alleviating the wider spread global issues.
So, get focusing… what is truly meaningful, what really matters to you?
Let me know…

Hi Laura,
Just read your blog and its sooo true. I have taken on board all that you have said over the last few months and now feel and look much better. I have moved back from the people who have made me uncomfortable and uneasy. My outlook for the future is so much more positive and have applied for other positions. Have changed the balance and now feel more contented with what I am doing.
Thank you Laura,
Hi Laura, Your blog resonates with me; I am on a spiritual path and realise there are so many layers to pass through. Beginning a de-clutter with small things e.g. in your home, in relationships (not just romantic) then you will definitely feel better and not only be ready to do more, you will want to do more. Each time I clear things, my mind also becomes clearer and everything flows so much more easily. Understanding comes to us in so many ways, we just have to watch, listen and be ready and especially love who we are. xxx
Thank you for your comments. I’m glad the blog resonated with you both, it can take a lot of consistent effort to clear a pathway (physical/emotional/mental) but it’s always worthwhile. We owe it to ourselves.. and the planet as a whole.
Love
